SPRAVATO® TREATMENT
Break Through Depression with Ketamine Assisted Therapy
What is Spravato®?
Spravato® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray used to treat adults with Treatment-Resistant Depression and Major Depressive Disorder. This innovative therapy can provide rapid relief when other treatments haven't worked.
How Spravato® Therapy Works
Spravato® targets the brain in a unique way, helping to restore neural connections and lift depression. It is not a take-home medication and is used under guided medical supervision.
Each session takes place in the clinic, where the medication is self-administered under the supervision of a healthcare provider and followed by a monitoring period.
STEP 1: Initial consultation
We begin with a consultation to determine whether Spravato is appropriate for you. Spravato requires a referral from a psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse practitioner in order to initiate the prior authorization process with your insurance.
STEP 2: Treatment planning
If you are a candidate, we create a treatment plan and review what to expect before, during, and after each session.
STEP 3: In-Clinic administration
Spravato is administered in our office under medical supervision. You remain in the clinic for the duration of your session monitoring.
STEP 4: Ongoing support and follow-up
We track your response, adjust the care plan as needed, and help support you in your goals and continuity of treatment.
